Waters' Edge on the Esopus

Welcome to Waters' Edge, a beautiful eclectic cottage set on a perfect stretch of the Esopus Creek. Just two hours from the city, you are surrounded by a wonderful cultural experience, great music, farm to table restaurants, art galleries and antique stores. And for the outdoor enthusiast there is something for everyone! Always something happening in the Hudson Valley no matter what time of year you visit. The space Beautiful two bedroom, two bath set up with one bed and bath in back and one in front with the living room in between - perfect for two couples. Lots of great amenities and creature comforts. Full closet of games & puzzles, a small library - grab a book and go out on the lounge chair, antique desk in front where we invite you to pick a vintage postcard and fill out with comments to share. Guest access You have access to the entire house and property minus the basement and the garage that is set at the front of the property. There are two kayaks under the deck that can be used if a waiver is signed in advance of your stay. There are also life vests and a couple different sized water shoes for use. Fire pit and BBQ also available. Other things to note There is a track that runs parallel to the road and there will be some train noise, kind of part of country living. White noise machines available for sleeping - I'm a light sleeper and it doesn't wake me up (and I don't use the white noise machines). With the windows closed it's not as noticeable but I love the windows open to hear the other country sounds like the birds and crickets chirping. As a kid I put pennies on the track and would come back later to a flattened souvenir. That risky kid behavior is not encouraged here though ;-)
