The apartment is located on Main Street in Playa Chiquita, the quietest and safest area of Puerto Viejo, a few meters from the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean. A few meters away you will also find restaurants, supermarkets, and bike rentals. The area is well connected and a few minutes by car from downtown, Punta Uva, Playa Cocles, and Manzanillo. The space The apartment is completely private and does not share any spaces with other guests or with the owners, except for the main entrance of the property. It is located inside a fully fenced and secure property, surrounded by Caribbean nature where you can often see birds, sloths, and monkeys. The space includes a main bedroom with a double bed and orthopedic mattress, a bathroom, a kitchen area, and a balcony where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. The apartment is built entirely of brick in a Mediterranean style and is fully protected with mosquito screens, which help keep unwanted insects out and make your stay more comfortable. We do not charge a cleaning fee, but we kindly ask you to respect the space and help us keep the apartment clean and tidy, just as you found it. The area is very quiet and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to rest and unwind. The beach—considered one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean—is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment along a scenic path surrounded by lush vegetation. Parking The property offers parking spaces located in front of the house, along the main street, within a private area for the exclusive use of our guests. It is a very quiet and safe neighborhood; in more than 8 years of operation we have never had any incidents, and the area is monitored by security cameras. However, as this is an open parking area without a gate, vehicles are parked at their owners’ responsibility. By making a reservation, guests accept these conditions; therefore, we are not responsible for any damage, theft, or incidents involving the vehicles. Guest access The apartment is located in Playa Chiquita, a very well-connected and accessible neighborhood where you can get everything you need in a few minutes walk. It is a very safe area so, also at night, you can go out and enjoy the nearby restaurants with no worries. Near the house you will find several bicycle rentals, the best solution to reach the beautiful beaches of Puerto Viejo and enjoy the nature of the area. Other things to note Being in a tropical location, and despite our best efforts, some insects may occasionally find their way inside. We offer a place to relax and enjoy the nature and calm of the Caribbean. To ensure a peaceful stay for all our guests, loud music is not allowed at any time of the day or night. Laundry service is available for an additional fee of $10 per bag (up to 4 kg), including washing and drying. There are also several laundromats nearby to choose from. The tap water is filtered and safe for cooking and showering. For drinking, we recommend bottled water, especially for guests not used to the area.
