Guest access The entire apartment and private balcony are yours during your stay. You’re also welcome to enjoy our shared gardens and grounds, with coffee plants, fruit trees, native vegetation, and plenty of opportunities to spot birds and other wildlife. The apartment is on the second floor and accessed by stairs. There is no elevator. Free on-site parking is available close to the apartment. We live on the property and are happy to help with questions or local recommendations when needed, while giving you plenty of privacy to enjoy your stay. Other things to note 🌿 Gardens, forest & wildlife Our property is surrounded by gardens, coffee plants, fruit trees and restored forest. Over the years, we’ve planted more than 1,000 native trees and plants to restore wildlife habitat. Hummingbirds, butterflies, monkeys and other wildlife regularly move through the property, and guests often enjoy watching them from the balcony and gardens. A portion of every stay also supports local conservation efforts here in Monteverde through a program called CORCLIMA. 💧 Drink the tap water Monteverde’s tap water is potable, so there’s no need to buy plastic water bottles-bring a reusable bottle and refill! 🌱 A tropical forest stay Being surrounded by tropical forest means an occasional insect may find its way indoors despite regular cleaning. Keeping food sealed and counters clean helps discourage tiny ants and other visitors.
