Our house is an exciting 4 bedroom/ 5 bath house located just steps away from the amazing beach, surf and sunsets of Playa Colorado. You’ll enjoy a perfect location in Hacienda Iguana on the breezy, mid-north end of our beautiful beach where the prevailing winds keep Kon Tiki cool and comfortable. Butterflies and colorful birds are there every morning to greet you, and keep your eye out for the Howler monkeys making their way through the tree-tops! Casa Kon Tiki is decorated in a casual, comfortable style with pops of cheerful color and hints of Polynesia. There are cool tile floors throughout and it is furnished with locally crafted furniture. It has four large bedroom suites with full bathrooms, and self-controlled air conditioning systems. The two "Master" bedrooms have king beds and beautifully tiled outdoor showers. The four private rooms surround a enclosed and landscaped courtyard with private pool and bar perfect for family fun or peaceful sunbathing. A separate Great Room includes a new large AC unit, comfortable sectional sofa and 60" flatscreen TV with netflix and smart tv capabilities, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen perfect for any chef! Pool deck offers another half bath and pool deck shower, along with a full outdoor bar complete with fridge, freezer, and BBQ grill. Up the spiral staircase, you will enjoy the large palapa roof-top lounge. Dine, play a game, or swing in a hammock among the breezy tree-tops and take a peek at the ocean just beyond. THE perfect spot for yoga practice or a massage from a local masseuse! We also have numerous games for families to play. The house has reliable WiFi service, long distance Magic Jack telephone. Don't forget your Netflix password and you can enjoy an evening movie in complete comfort! There are many lovely things available in the resort. Go for a short walk down the beach for a tropical drink or cold beer at our Beach Club and if you're hungry, you can enjoy a fabulous meal in the casual, open air restaurant. While you're there, watch the amazing talents of the best surfers on Playa Colorado's break. Otherwise, you can head to Don Eloy's Sports Bar for a great burger and pizza or a delightful dish of homemade ice cream at Scoops & Spokes across the street. Don't forget to try a round of golf! All levels welcome on this lazy, sprawling 9 hole course. We know that you’ve come to relax and experience and we are here to assist you 24 hours a day. We ensure that when you arrive at our house you are fully briefed on everything you need to know. We can arrange transportation to and from the airport, or suggest a rental car company, and help you with our local activities - day trips, spa/massages, yoga, horseback riding, fishing, golfing and of course, surfing! If you tell us in advance we can stock the house with groceries, for a small fee, or set you up with a private catered food package. *Take advantage of the local vendors that come by regularly with freshly caught fish and seafood or fruits and vegetables to purchase. There is also 2 small grocery stores located inside the property. Guest access You will be able to access all parts of the house.
