The space This villa is an architect’s residence, who decided to start sharing this unique space on March 2021, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Central Valley and the Poas and Irazú volcanoes. Surrounded by lush secondary forest, 20% of the property land is part of the El Rodeo reserve, where capuchin monkeys live year around and birds like toucans and orioles will accompany you every day. The Villa’s location grants very pleasant temperatures throughout the year, enjoying the cool breezes coming from the mountains and the filtering of the sun through the forest canopy. The integrated interior spaces located on half levels are connected by a wooden staircase suspended above an internal garden. The front and back of the house consist of floor to ceiling glass rotating doors that serve as connectors between the interior and the exterior, which gives the feeling that the forest is part of the house, an element of its design, and allows air circulation for the enjoyment of cool breezes throughout the day. Every morning you will wake up to the sounds of birds. Every space of the house has been designed to enjoy and connect with nature and its stunning views. The master bedroom is located at the highest level and has views of the surrounding mountains, Poas volcano and the Central Valley from its covered terrace to enjoy at all times. In the en-suite master bathroom, opening to the forest of the back of the property through huge glass windows, you may be surprised by passing monkeys, colorful butterflies, birds and other wildlife while enjoying a relaxing time in the jacuzzi. The kitchen is connected to two terraces allowing the choice of sun or shade to enjoy the views of the forest while having your meals or the beautiful sunrise and sunset views over the valley. The double height of the living room provides an ample and elegant feeling, high glass opening doors on both fronts of the home, allows to simultaneously enjoy views of the reserve’s forest in the back and the Central Valley and volcanoes on the front.
