“Retreat at High Point” is a secluded, waterfront getaway on the Great Wicomico set on over 4 private acres with 300’ river front. It’s great for families, a friendly get-together, or anyone looking for some R&R! There’s also plenty of room to gather or find a space to read, watch TV, or chill out. You can enjoy nature and river views (especially pretty sunsets and the sparkling water). The property caters to water/outdoor activities for everyone. Places nearby to explore, shop and eat. The space First floor - Main bedroom: King bed; Upstairs - 2nd bedroom: Queen bed; 3rd bedroom - this bedroom acts as a family suite with a Queen bed in one room, Jack-and-Jill bathroom (with shower), and the adjacent room with 3 twin beds. Main bedroom has an attached full bathroom (separate tub and shower). Upstairs hallway has an additional large full bathroom with tub/shower. First floor also has fully equipped kitchen with dual coffee machine (pot and one-cup pods), blender, food processor, hand mixer, griddle/panini press combo, and baking and serving ware. There are 2 eating areas on the main floor (in kitchen and separate dining room), a large living room, cozy sitting room with tv (& DVD player), and a screened porch off the dining room. Lower level game room has air hockey, foosball and a dart board around the corner. Guest access Our roundabout driveway is off a private road with plenty of parking. Other things to note -Weekly (6-nights) bookings with Saturday arrival and Friday departure dates. -Great for 2 families vacationing together or multigenerational family gathering. -We have 4 kayaks and 1 canoe available to use during your stay. You can also fish or crab off the dock, or bring your own boat. -Fire pit and tiki torches are set up near the dock area. -Deck beside dock is a great sitting spot to take in the views and read a book if you don't want too much sun on the dock. There is also a walk-in ramp to easily launch the kayaks and canoe. -A variety of games are in the family room, and the garage holds the accessories to water and other outdoor activities (including several games such as corn hole and croquet), as well as a football, volley ball and soccer ball. There are also a few fishing poles and small tackle box (check VA rules for fishing license requirements).
