CALMA APARTMENTS COSTA RICA is a gated property with apartments and a house that share the garden and the pool area, as well as good vibes and charming talks. We are located in the main street (so every car can access) in a peaceful neighborhood but only 5 minutes walking (600 metres) to the bustle of the commercial area with supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, ATM, shops, pharmacy etc. Also 5 minutes walking to the beach. There are two entrances in front of our property: one leads to a peaceful beach with tide pools and the other one to a gentle surf spot called Playa Carmen. Get the real feel and connection of an Airbnb with the attention of a boutique hotel. Guest access Pura Vida symbolizes the simple living and cheerful outlook even during unpredictable events that often happen in this country. It is a lifestyle that we encourage you to embody during your stay. We provide all the services for an amazing stay: - 100Mb optic fiber internet with backup - Private bathroom with hot water - Private equipped kitchen - Cleaning service at no added cost But, bear in mind that in Costa Rica power outages are common due to the wild Nature (storms, falling trees) and hanging wires. Could be unpredictable and the duration is not clear. It is not under our control and we always inform our guests if they are scheduled. At Calma we have an Internet backup. It is a chance to embrace uncertainty and keep enjoying at the swimming pool or the beach. The common areas are the parking, the pool, the garden and the "rancho". Every guest has total access to the garden area and pool. Feel free to enjoy charming talks in our "rancho" next to the pool. Our parking is outside the gated area. We have 3 parking spots on a first come, first served basis (so parks who finds a free spot). If there are no spots, we have adapted an area on the main road in front of Calma. We have a cctv camera (parking and main road) and since 2016, nothing has happened.
