One bedroom w/queen bed+ living area with fold out couch/futon, dining/kitchen + bathroom. Spanish style house 5 minutes walk from town center. WIFI, AC, smart tv, fans, towels and soap. Close to beaches, restaurants, supermarket and charming gift shops. Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler are available for guest use. Guests should purchase travel insurance in case of hurricanes, bad weather causing ferry or plane cancellations. The space Simple, but has everything you need. Comfortable. Find us on social media for video walk through @Casanirvana.culebra A few items to note follow: We have WIFI available for our guests. One thing to note if you are a light sleeper. Culebra is known for its wild roosters that are all over the island. They do crow a lot. 98% of our guests are not bothered by them but if you are easily disturbed by roosters crowing, we provide ear plugs and white noise machines to make your stay more pleasant. Please note: Maximum Occupancy is 4 guests. If you will be using the futon to sleep, please let us know so we can have extra sheets ready. Guest access There is a bistro table and chairs outside for guest use. Beach chairs also available should you need them. Other things to note PLEASE READ There are mosquitoes in Culebra so repellent is recommended!! We do have screens on our windows to keep them out. However, when the entry door is open they will come in so it is advisable to keep the screen door closed to keep them out. There are mosquito zappers in the unit that work great. Please note that mosquitoes are attracted to dark colors like black, brown and navy blue........ Finally, please be aware that there are cockroaches in the Caribbean. There are several species of roaches that have wings and in Puerto Rico these are called the American cockroach or Palmetto Bug. We do our best to control them with weekly pest control. It is very rare to see them in our units but we feel that it is important to discuss this just in case. If you do see one in the unit it will very likely be dead. That’s because the pest control is working, not because the unit wasn’t cleaned. You can help us to prevent them by keeping your unit clean and entrance doors closed so they don't come in. They generally uncommon inside, but in wet weather or in search of food, they will enter so don't leave food around and ensure you take the garbage out every day because cockroaches and ants generally feed on food scraps and rotten garbage. Please be aware of this. We do our best to keep our units insect free and if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask. In regards to wifi, it usually does not have problems but occasionally the wifi on the island will go out for a couple hours or so. If this happens we apologize but it is out of our control. This is just life in culebra. Cellphone reception is always good however.
