Heart of Historic Center. Fantastic terrace view.

We actually extended our stay because we loved the house and city so much. Fantastic bars and restaurants all around." The space Clean, large, 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with the most amazing city views. Built in the 1870's, it is registered as a historic home. The house is very open with a center courtyard and upstairs terrace for viewing the city below. It is well maintained with comfortable furnishings throughout house. It comes with high speed wireless internet, and Netflix for movies. Washer and dryer are also at your disposal. Detergent not included. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal with the exception of the storage room and rooftop. It's the whole house, 5 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms. Almost 300 square meters. It has all the services. Other things to note The city of Guanajuato is built on hillsides. There is a slight incline to get to house. However, the fantastic views provided are well worth the effort. Also, home sits directly behind and above Templo de San Francisco. Thus, you will be awakened every morning by tho sound of the church bells ringing. This, in our opinion, makes the stay even more special. Be aware, that being in the city center, you may experience the lively sounds of the city at night. We have never had an issue with it, some guests do mention it from time to time. House is located on a pedestrian only street. Like 95% of the houses in the city center, IT DOES NOT have a parking garage. The nearest parking garage is just a three minute walk from front door. We STRONGLY advise you not bring a car if you don’t have to. Parking can be very expensive at over thirty dollars per day and you may struggle to find a spot during high season. Another extremely important note to consider. Like many other regions in Mexico, Guanajuato is experiencing extreme drought. Recently the city has been temporarily and randomly shutting off the taps. The house does have two reserve tanks or “cisterns” but depending on the use and number of people visiting, they may run out. Ordering a truck to deliver water to fill the tanks can take up to two to three days due to the high demand when this occurs. We have no control over this and recommend that guests use water conservatively. Note; this is not particular to ONLY our house, it is citywide! We prefer being extremely transparent.
