The open plan lounge has an additional queen fold out sofa bed. The space The five-acre property is 300m off the road surrounded by farm animals, wild gardens, paddocks, and native bush. The Ruru Cottage is extremely private and self-contained. It has a large extending deck and is located at the back of the property. Guests are welcome to say hi to the friendly farm animals, walk the labyrinth, or take a short stroll through the stunning Newstead walkway bushwalk next door. The main bedroom has a Queen bed, a walk-in wardrobe, and a timeless stainless glass window. The lounge is cosy and has an additional sofa that can extend into a queen sized bed. Upon request, a cot and highchair can also be added and yes, it is pet-friendly! This heritage cottage is situated 1km from the Waikato expressway and Waikato uni and only 7 minutes drive from Hamilton CBD. It’s conveniently located minutes away from a supermarket and leading Waikato restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Guest access The cottage is completely private from the main house and is accessible via the woodshed and pebbled path. There is onsite parking sign posted and available. Other things to note There are two super friendly border collies on-site Tussock (Mum) and Twiggy (Daughter) who often greet guests.
