Overlooking the bay of Étang-Salé-les-Bains, Villa Samaé reflects the spirit of Réunion Island: a bright private home, open to the ocean and surrounded by a large tropical garden. Its signature décor blends my Asian influences with the Creole art of living. Wooden terraces, lounge areas beneath coconut trees, a natural stone spa and a swimming pool create a unique and exotic setting. Local shops are within a 10-minute walk. Between sea and forest, an elegant villa conceived as a refuge, inviting you to slow down and recharge, set within a 1,800 m² exotic garden facing the ocean. 🏡 Guided tour of the house Once inside, the bright living area opens onto a large terrace overlooking the tropical garden and the ocean. To the right, the modern open-plan kitchen invites you to cook while enjoying the view. Downstairs, on the garden level, the atmosphere becomes more cosy: • The master bedroom, featuring a king-size bed and a private bathroom (shower/WC), opens directly onto the garden. • Two cosy bedrooms, each with queen-size beds, overlook either the shimmering pool or the surrounding greenery. A second bathroom, an additional WC (the first one is located upstairs) and a laundry room complete this area. ❄️ Comfort Thanks to the trade winds and ceiling fans, the villa benefits from soft and pleasant natural ventilation, true to the tropical spirit, without artificial air conditioning. The spa is heated between 34 and 36 °C, depending on the season. The swimming pool is not heated. 📶 Connectivity High-speed Wi-Fi is available in the living areas and on the upper terrace. The bedrooms and the garden, located on the lower level, offer a complete digital detox. 🚸 Children and accessibility Due to the layout of the property, the accommodation is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or for children under the age of 10. 🧺 Included upon arrival Bed linen and towels, basic cooking oil and condiments, household cleaning products, toiletries and mosquito-repellent devices are provided to ensure a comfortable stay from your arrival. These supplies are intended for the beginning of the stay only. Any additional replenishment is at the guests’ expense. Their use is under each guest’s responsibility. For specific needs (allergies, intolerances or personal preferences), guests are advised to bring their own products. ℹ️ Accommodation registered under number 59. Guest access 🛣️ After taking the Étang-Salé / Les Avirons exit, you will follow a winding road through the forest, lined with eucalyptus trees, chokas and tamarind trees, leading to the village of Les Avirons and then to Villa Samaé. 💡 Fast route (avoiding the town centre) • At the Phare des Avirons roundabout → take the first exit on the right (direction Fire station – High school) • Pass to the left of the fire station (SDIS) • At the small roundabout → first right (direction Schools – High school) and drive uphill • At the stop sign → turn right: Chemin des Ananas is immediately on the right • Continue to No. 27 👉 Same route in reverse when leaving, to avoid driving through the town centre: → when leaving Chemin des Ananas, take the first left (direction L’Étang-Salé), → drive downhill to the Phare roundabout, → then continue towards L’Étang-Salé-les-Bains. 🏖️ To reach Étang-Salé-les-Bains beach without using the forest road: from Carrefour Market Les Avirons, take the small road directly opposite (downhill) and follow it straight down to the beach (all directions / Saint-Pierre). 📍 Key distances (by car) • 🛒 2 min by car / 10 min on foot → supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, petrol station • 🌊 10 min → Étang-Salé-les-Bains beach and Route des Tamarins (dual carriageway) • 🌅 20 min → Saint-Leu or Saint-Pierre • 🐚 40 min → Saint-Gilles-les-Bains • ✈️ 1h15 → Roland-Garros Airport Other things to note For safety reasons related to the configuration of the outdoor areas, the supervision of children is the sole responsibility of the accompanying adults.
