Charming room, private Nordic bath & sauna

Welcome to La Fée Capucine, a charming guest house in Saint-Galmier in the Loire, a renovated old rammed earth farmhouse by the river Coise. Homemade breakfast is included, prepared with seasonal produce. The wood-fired outdoor sauna and Nordic bath can be booked for private use, for a moment all to yourself. We will be happy to advise you on the area. Here, music and cooking are part of the place. A place designed to really slow down. The space 18 m², with private bathroom and toilet. Handcrafted bedding, designed with sleep in mind as much as the environment. The bedroom is in an old rammed earth farmhouse – a traditional local construction, renovated in accordance with best practices – with views of the garden, the river and the Gavé Bridge. The area is very quiet, on the Way of St. James. This is not quite a typical B&B: the kitchen and living room are open to you, especially for breakfast, and a laundry room is available on request — a bit like a cottage, but with the added hospitality. The decor combines found objects and creations by local artists. Guest access Bedroom with private bathroom and WC. Common spaces: common room with kitchenette, tables and reading corner, library, tea/coffee making area. Laundry room upon request. Exterior of the house, banks of the Coise and garden. Private sauna and Nordic bath by reservation. During your stay We like to exchange and receive, we will respect your expectations. We remain available by phone during your stay. We are often on site and available to help you with a hike, tour or other information. Naturopath and chef, I organize cooking workshops on request. Some events are scheduled in the agenda, it is possible to integrate into the group. Other things to note We love customization: feel free to let us know what you would like. Upon request, I am happy to create themed meals, and I can easily adapt to any allergies or dietary restrictions. As a trained naturopath, I am well versed in vegetarian and allergy-related topics.
