A log-cabin that is 10 minutes from the main Parkway in Pigeon Forge! The upstairs bedroom is a large open loft open to downstairs. It also has the Arcade, laundry, and half bathroom! Great space for the kids! The Main bedroom is downstairs, along with the Full bathroom. The cabin is in an area with other cabins, we share a driveway with a neighboring cabin. The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details including the door code. We are owner operated. No meeting for keys- just arrive at the cabin and relax! We want to create a 5 star stay for you and we are happy to help with any issues that may come up! Please reach out as soon as you see anything that needs our attention. Please try to keep it during normal business hours if it is not an emergency. We prefer to keep all communication in the app. There is a neighboring cabin that shares the driveway. There are other rentals in the area, as well as locals who live in the neighborhood. You are in the mountains, the first 4.5 miles from the parkway are pretty normal. The last 5 turns have steep hills and sharp turns. Not recommended in the winter without 4-wheel drive. The other 3 seasons are fine! Please check the weather before arriving. Go check out the pond that is the next block over, if you don't mind hills, it would be a great morning walk! Driveway fits two vehicles. PIGEON FORGE Parkway Light #3: 6 Miles DOLLYWOOD: 11 Miles Easy Roads. Mountain Coasters: 3.6 Miles Wal Mart: 6.4 Miles Wears Valley Rd: 3.5 Miles The Apple Mill Barn: 5.9 Miles Tanger Outlet Malls: 6.3 Miles Titanic Museum: 5.2 Miles The Island Amusement Park: 6.4 Miles Rocky Top Harley Davidson: 5.9 Miles GATLINBURG: 15 Miles CADES COVE: 30 miles. 1 hour 30 minutes to get there. The loop at Cade's cove is 10.6 miles. Drive it, rent a bike at the start and bike it, or run it. It is closed to cars and open to runners and cyclists Wednesday and Saturday mornings until 10:00am Early May to Late September. Gorgeous views, wildlife, and a pretty good chance you'll see a bear. CLINGMAN'S DOME: 37 Miles. This will take 3-4 hours round trip. There are plenty of amazing hikes at Newfound Gap on the way up such as Andrews Bald and "The Jump Off" and more hikes in the Clingman's Dome area. Those less adventurous should at the very least check out the observation tower at Clingman's dome. Wear Cove Gap (park entrance in Wears Valley): 11 Miles Foothills Parkway: 8.5 Miles Neyland Stadium Knoxville: 25 Miles 45 Minutes Gatlinburg Park entrance: 18 Miles Nashville: 205 Miles Hikers! Please search Hiking in The Smokies on the web. There is no Cell Service once you're in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park so be prepared with maps or screen shots. There are no cabins inside the park other than the ones you may pass on certain hikes that are 100 years old and not inhabitable. It's been a national park since 1934. It is free entry, but does require a parking pass if you plan to park anywhere longer than 15 minutes. -We have 4 Smart TV's that you will need to bring your own passwords for (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) There is a live TV option on Roku if you do not wish to log into any apps. -Cell phone service can be spotty at the cabin, we have fast Wi-Fi though, so it's usually fine after connected. -There are just a few steep hills once you get closer to the cabin, part of the mountain experience! - Max guest amount is 6 but may be most comfortable for two adults and up to 4 children. -2 vehicle max -No pets -We will have starter toilet paper, paper towels, and soaps for hands, laundry, and the dishwasher. You may need to buy more for your stay. - You will likely see and hear critters, as you are in the mountains. - Bears are dangerous, loud noise should run them off. Please do not feed them. -If the power goes out, there are several flashlights available by the front door. - The fireplace is shut down April 1 to October 1 as with every cabin in the area. - The hot tub is for guests/supervised by someone 25 and over. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol, or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub at your own risk. - No late check out or early check in. If you arrive early or depart late there will be a $50 charge. - No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of God/other things that are beyond our control. Please get trip insurance for these instances. - Body Soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, charcoal, coffee, and coffee filters are not provided, but it is not uncommon for previous guests to leave filters/coffee and/or charcoal if you want to check before purchasing. - If you sneak in a pet of any kind, you will be charged an additional $100, and you will be asked to leave. - Absolutely no fires inside or out (besides Fireplace). Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages.
