Welcome to our charming cottage, located on the shores of Lake Windermere. Our lakefront retreat is ideal for 2 families, a multigenerational family holiday, or as a gathering place with friends. Walk out the front door to your own private dock and beach, where you can laze in the sun and enjoy water sports, all while taking in the breathtaking views of the lake and mountain range. We are a perfectly located 10 minute walk to the boutique shops and restaurants in downtown Invermere. The space This well-appointed 3 bedroom home comfortably sleeps 8 people. It has a large master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite, guest room with queen bed, and bunk room with 3 twin beds. There is also a queen convertible sofa bed in the refinished basement. The master bedroom has French doors leading to an upper deck , where you can enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee and relax with a good book, all while enjoying the unparalleled views. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has an induction stove, 2 ovens, large fridge and bar fridge for beverages. It is stocked with all the utensils and tools that you will need to prepare meals with your family and friends. There is seating for 10 people in the kitchen, where there are stunning views of the lake and Mount Swansea. There are French doors leading out to a large deck overlooking the lake, where you will find a BBQ, dining table and Adirondack chairs. It is a great space for relaxing or entertaining! The comfy living room offers a sofa, 2 lounge chairs, window bench seating, a desk, and woodburning fireplace. Our Apple TV and sound system is also located here, and we have a chest filled with games for your enjoyment. It is a wonderfully tranquil space to relax in after a day at the beach. Downstairs, there is a walk-out basement that is open concept, fully furnished and very child-friendly. There you will find an entertainment area, with TV, playstation, puzzle and craft area. The sofa converts into a queen bed for extra sleeping. You will also find full laundry facilities in this space. We also have a boat house, where you will find beach towels, sand toys, extra outdoor cushions, and access to the beach. Our cottage is truly a beach house, as we are on a flat, sandy patch of beach, just steps to the lake. On our property, you will find an outdoor shower, fire pit, picnic table, cozy hammock, and large dock with seating area to read, eat or watch the kids as they swim in the lake. We also have a boat buoy for parking your boat overnight. It is very rare to find a property that comes with a buoy and dock to conveniently load your family, friends and gear into the boat!! There is parking for 3 vehicles on our property. We also have town services, such as garbage/recycling pick-up, snow removal on the roads, and utilities including electricity, water and plumbing. Our property is a four-season getaway, perfect for creating unforgettable memories with family and friends year round! Guest access Guests can access the entire cottage and property, including private beach and dock. Other things to note Rentals of one week or more will take priority in July and August.
