The space The Poolhouse is one of three private self-catering units at L’Abri, situated within the peaceful Oliphantskop Private Nature Reserve. Designed for two guests, the unit features a comfortable king-size bed, private en-suite shower and a kitchenette equipped for preparing light meals. Facilities include a microwave, two-plate stove, fridge, coffee and tea station, free Wi-Fi, and a Smart TV with complimentary Disney+. Your private patio is ideal for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or relaxing in the fresh West Coast air. The shared swimming pool and garden are just steps away. Secure on-site parking is provided. L’Abri is a short drive from Langebaan’s beaches, lagoon, shops, restaurants and the West Coast National Park. A car is essential, as these places are not within comfortable walking distance. Guest access Guests have private use of The Poolhouse and its patio. The communal swimming pool and shared garden are located just outside the unit and are available for all L’Abri guests. Secure on-site parking is provided for one vehicle. Access to the private reserve is controlled by gates, and guests receive a remote for convenient access during their stay. Other things to note The Poolhouse accommodates a maximum of two registered guests. Parties, social gatherings, unregistered visitors and pets are not permitted. The unit is situated beside the communal pool and shared garden, so other L’Abri guests may use this area during the day. The pool is closed during the colder winter months. If you would like a refreshing winter swim, please ask us and we will open it where possible. Bella, our friendly Jack Russell, roams around the shared garden and pool area and may come to welcome you. We live in the main house and are available if you need assistance, while always respecting your privacy. Neighbouring construction takes place on weekdays and is expected to continue until October 2026. Some daytime building noise may be audible, but no construction work takes place over weekends.
