Cabin by the River with AC | In Liw-Liwa Zambales

Description

Welcome to Riverback Sanctuary — our cozy cabin by the river in Liwa, Zambales. A peaceful place where time slows down and nature takes the lead. Our small island offers the kind of calm that’s hard to find. Away from the crowds, yet close enough to the beach and local restaurants. It’s a simple and comfortable space made for those who want to relax and reconnect with nature. Perfect for couple, or just someone looking for peace, Our island is a place to slow down and feel alive again. The space 🌿 Your Cabin • Aircon • Double bed + sofa bed (bedding and towels included) • Wi-Fi (≈ 50 Mbps) • Private restroom with shower, toilet & bidet • Private terrace and backyard with table and chairs • Mosquito UV light + emergency light 🍳 Common Areas & Services • Outdoor kitchen (gas stove, grill, rice cooker, kettle, utensils) — small fee for kitchen use • Free drinking water • We can cook for you upon pre-order only • Bonfire area (seasonal, small fee) Only 5–10 minutes’ walk from the beach, the island offers the right mix of peace and convenience, far from the tourist crowds but still close to cafes and restaurants. You’ll reach the island by crossing three handmade bamboo bridges, a short adventure that leads you to a quiet world of birds, trees, and flowing water. You’ll share the island with us — Bibe and Sam, a Filipino-French couple — and our many dogs, cats and chickens, who live freely around. We love to share our lifestyle with guests who appreciate nature, kindness, and simplicity. Our island is home to only two other cabins and our main guest house, giving you plenty of space to enjoy your privacy. We are a homestay, not a resort. We invite you to immerse yourself in a natural, simple lifestyle and spend time with us as part of our family. Expect a truly inspiring and relaxing experience with all the basics you need. Guest access Access to the island is through three handmade bamboo bridges from the main road — sturdy but sometimes challenging for older guests. You’ll pass through Riverside Community, a friendly area shared with artists, surfers, and locals, before reaching our sanctuary. During your stay, you can swim in the river, use our boat, or join us for unique experiences like boodle fights, waterfalls tour, island hopping, or surf lessons. Other things to note • We’re animal lovers — you’ll meet our dogs, cats and chickens. • Our water comes from a deep well and may be slightly salty during high tide. • Living in nature means you might see insects, leaves, or experience humidity — it’s part of the charm of island life. • Brownouts can happen occasionally (usually short). • Please respect quiet hours, our community, and our private space. • This is our home, not a resort. We’ll do our best to make your stay comfortable and memorable — but we invite you to come with an open mind and a love for simplicity. This is a cozy, authentic retreat, not a luxury hotel experience. • Occasionally, you might hear distant dredging from the beach area (around 500m away). It’s light and has never been a problem for our guests so far. • Follow our journey on social medias: @riverback.sanctuary
