This quiet country handicapped accessible home is surrounded by farm fields in rural Hutchinson. If one wants a place to be only a few miles from town, but away from people, this is the place to go! The whole house is available for use and can easily accommodate a family. This house has not only 3 bedrooms, but also a very nice family room that has room for an air mattress or two. A living room for lounging is adjacent to the kitchen. There is plenty of room to stretch out! The Master Bedroom has its own bathroom with a corner bathtub and also a shower. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Wifi is available for those who can't leave their technology behind and there is plenty of table space for the person who needs to do business. For those who fear Kansas storms, a storm shelter is available, as well as a two-car garage and an additional carport for vehicle protection. Walking out the back door, one can sit on the deck and enjoy farm scenes, or they can sit in the seclusion and haven of a small backyard enjoying the fresh air and listen to the birds. Enjoy freshly ground coffee as you take in the country setting. The front porch has a grill and one can pull a chair out to enjoy the wide-open space. At the right time of the year, you may witness the wheat harvest happen right in front of your eyes. All areas are accessible at all times with the exception of the storm shelter. This will be made available in case of storm. The kitchen is fully furnished and contains some of the basic food items to help get you started on your meals. This includes coffee, sugar, flour, a few seasonings, popcorn for a snack to name a few things. To aid in cooking, you will find a waffle maker and a mixer. There is also a toaster available. This is your home away from home. Though we like to meet our guests, because we are out of town often, we may not have that opportunity. However, the site manager lives close by and someone will be available to answer any questions you may have. Being in the center of Amish country, one may see a buggy driving by if spending a Sunday in the community. Only 1.7 miles away is the Pleasantview Community which hosts the Glenn's Bulk Food Store and Deli as well as Country Home Furnishings, a store selling Amish-made furniture. Another attractive place is the Stutzman's Greenhouse and Gift Store as well as the Dutch Kitchen Restaurant. Both the Dutch Kitchen and Carolyn's Essenhaus, which is located only 12 miles away in the small town of Arlington, are famous for their Amish-inspired home cooked food. If one is interested in site-seeing in the town of Hutchinson, they only need to go about 10 miles to the Cosmosphere or 11 miles to the Underground Salt Mine. Also in downtown Hutch is the vintage toy store known as the Toy Depot. The popular Kansas State Fair is 10 miles away and the little town of Yoder, the hub of a local Amish community, is 13 miles away. There is plenty of parking space for several vehicles and trailers. The carport is always available and a double garage use can be arranged. There is not cable TV available, but there is a smart TV with working wifi. Wifi should have enough strength to play movies.
