Built in 2016 the house combines minimalism architecture with Canadian lifestyle. You can enjoy privacy in a place that is quiet but breathtaking at the same time. Enjoy your day watching the waves and birds on the deck or start a kayak trip right from the house. Cape Breton (1.5 hours) and golf courses (40 min) are nearby. Kayaks are available. The space The house is located directly at the Atlantic between Sherbrooke and Guysborough. It is surrounded by a large deck and has an outside dining place. The house combines modern architecture with calmness and wild nature. Several large windows let you feel part of it. The huge main room provides a new cast-iron wood stove that makes you feel warm and creates a cozy atmosphere in the evenings. The kitchen and the bedroom are modern and cozy at the same time as well. Wifi is available but no TV. For us the sea is the entertainment. A small beach is right at the house. Antigonish (1 hour), Guysborough (40 min) and the Cabot Trail (2.5 hours) are nearby like Sherbrooke (45 min) with its Historic village and a grocery store. A petrol station with a small grocery store is 15 min away. In a 20 min ride you reach "Tor Bay", a huge public sand beach. A second house ("Artist Beach House on the Atlantic") can be rented 400 m away if you want to spend some time at the Atlantic with your friends or family.
