The Treehouse is a cool experience in a modest space so there's very little room for storage. Enter from the bedroom into the cute and compact bathroom with the beautiful Tree as the center feature. Glorious rustic tree growing through the curves of the bathroom, allowing this space to be a truly special one. Western 'hot water rain style' wet room / shower area with shelving built into the tree trunk. Vanity shelf with a Western ceramic vanity basin, additional storage space and a Western toilet.  The Wet room / Bathroom is a small yet adorable space. 💦 PLEASE NOTE! 💦 This space is cute & compact!!! Those who are 6ft (ish) will need to duck their heads in places! When the heavens open and the tropical rains come into the WET ROOM, the space is designed to allow water to run down the tree making this a true unique bathroom experience! The bathroom is designed to allow the tree to live while getting wet. Closed to all the elements, but allowing nature to take its course and invite water to trickle down the tree branches into the space. 🌴BUNKER KITCHEN (LOWER FLOOR) .Everything is made to measure and decked out in lovely local Island wood and designed for ease of use & everything has its place! Our Bunker kitchen is compact and practical and made to ensure you have all you need while allowing you to make the most of the outdoor space (as let’s be honest - who wants to cook when they are on holiday! BUT if you do - you have EVERYTHING you need!) Fridge Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Blender, Toaster, Coffee Press, All Crockery, All cutlery, and cook wear! 🌴2ND TERRACE (LOWER FLOOR) Lovely undercover lower terrace and a great chill out zone with direct beach access. Offering plenty of shade on those hot sunny days. And of course, just a step down to the beach and the inviting sea for that morning walk. In the evening sit and enjoy a cocktail or two and watch the amazing sunsets. It's not a deep swimming beach, but you can swim here, as our guests and our family do all the time.🤗🙏 💥LOW TIDE-PLEASE READ💥 💥LOW TIDE-PLEASE READ💥 APRIL-SEPTEMBER brings LOW tide. Many beaches along the west coast have shallow waters at seasonal times. During April to September, Hin Kong beach turns into a huge playground with low tide. 🌊Swimming in the day wont be possible, but the evenings or early mornings pending the months can bring some water to have a cool dip pending the month. Its a great spot for kids to play in, enjoy beach walks, shell and crab picking (which the thai locals love to do in the evenings to feed their familes) or to stroll & run around freely. We have lived in this same area for over 10 years now and LOVE this location as its perfect for us with our little boy! There are also an array of Pools around the island to use during low tide and many other beaches close by to visit and explore as well! 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭 🌴ISLAND LIFE: The Island gets bugs and all sorts of wonderful little creatures! So we just want you to understand. We professionally spray our homes monthly, (non toxic spray). Whether you stay in a 5 Star Resort or a wooden beach shack, it's all part of the experience here. Land in Koh Samui and then get a 30 minute ferry direct to Koh Phangan. This is the quickest option and the easiest! 🇹🇭 OPTION 2. Fly into Surat Thani International Airport, Thailand. This is on the mainland. Land in Surat Thani, you will be assisted at the airport to arrange transfer + ferry tickets. 🇹🇭Airport to ferry port is about 1.5 hours (this will be included in the ticket you buy when you land) Ferry to Koh Phangan from the ferry port is 2.5 hours. (This will be included in the ticket you buy when you land). This is the cheapest option but the longest! 👋ARRIVAL AT KOH PHANGAN When you arrive to Koh Phangan we can help & pre arrange a private taxi to be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it and take you direct to your home. We absolutely love children, but this home isn’t suitable for little ones. Maximum occupancy is strictly 2 adults, and guests under 12 are not permitted. ⛔ MAXIMUM CAPACITY = 2 The Treehouse can accommodate a maximum of 2 adult guests. 🙆 HEAD HEIGHT Please note that The Treehouse has low head height in some areas. Guests over 6ft may need to duck occasionally. ✈️ FLIGHTS & FERRIES Please be sure to arrange correct flights and ferry times so you can reach the island without issue. Depending on where you travel from, the last ferries have cut-off times. We’re happy to help guide you, but refunds cannot be offered if guests are unable to reach the island. ⚡ ELECTRICITY Electricity is charged at cost, 6THB per unit. On average, usage is between 80–150 THB per day, depending on air-conditioning use. From April to September, Hin Kong Beach experiences seasonal low tides, a natural rhythm along the west coast of Koh Phangan. During the day, the sea recedes to reveal a wide, shallow bay — perfect for walking, shell collecting, and soaking up magical sunsets. While it’s not suitable for swimming at this time, higher tides often appear in the early mornings and evenings, depending on the moon cycle, and nearby beaches and pools are always available for daytime swims. We’ve lived here for over 10 years and can say with certainty: it’s peaceful, picturesque, and deeply loved by locals and visitors alike. Hin Kong Bay is also home to excellent restaurants, yoga studios, beach bars, gyms, and even ice baths — a true mix of relaxation and community spirit. Nature sets the pace here, and we’ll gladly share our favourite spots with you. 💜 BEACHFRONT & ROAD NOISE The Treehouse sits directly on the beach with incredible views, but the Hin Kong beach road runs behind the house. Road noise can be noticeable, especially in peak season. If you’re sensitive to noise, please consider this before booking — or book with the understanding that it’s part of island life. 🎥 SAFETY CAMERAS For your security, there are 3 external cameras at the property: the entrance, beachside entrance, and lower open-plan area facing the beach. They record 24/7 but are not actively monitored. Your privacy is respected at all times. 🩵 NEIGHBOURS There are neighbours on both sides, and we’ve added plants and trees to create privacy.
