Endless wilderness right behind it envelopes a well equipped authentic log cabin, that will give you peace and tranquility. Accessible by car. The space The cabin sleeps 4 people. The log house features an open concept with table and chairs and the couch in the living area and a closet and cabinets to provide space for your gear. Windows along two sides of the building provide for a fantastic view of the back country and “King’s Throne” summit can be viewed from the kitchen area window. The kitchen area is separated by a counter. It comes with complete kitchen equipment like pots and pans, cutlery, water containers and dishes as well as a 2 burner propane stove. There are propane lights, which you won’t need in the summer and a wood stove to heat up the cabin if need be. Behind the cabin a campfire setup with seats and benches and lots of firewood allows for memorable evenings outside. Guest might have to park off the highway and bring in their things with a plastic toboggan stored at the cabin. Other things to note During COVID times we have to follow some special regulations you need to agree to: 1.) we do not meet with our guests prior to their going out so you will self-register with the key being in the outhouse; (You find it inside the outhouse in a shelve fixed at eye level to the back wall above the hole. Please return key to the same place after you looked cabin at departure) 2.) we need YOU to bring your own water, 25 liter containers will fit perfectly into the slot it needs to go on the kitchen counter (if you need more water you can get it in Haines Junction or the close-by river) 3.) we will sanitize the cabin prior to your arrival and leave up to 48 hours between rentals. 4.) you will have to bring all bedding such as mattress cover sheets (2 twin sheets for the bunk beds, 1 queen sheet for the fold-out couch, sleeping bags or duvets, blankets, pillow covers, and kitchen towels/dish rags. If that works for you I will send the house rules, road directions and the waiver/rental agreement that each person sleeping in the cabin needs to sign.
