Enjoy a quiet haven with a great view of Wellington harbour, easy access to the motorway & ferry, surrounded by hills with a backdrop of contemporary New Zealand art – so colour abounds! It's adult friendly, not child or pet friends no matter how cute! Two large bedrooms (twin and king), with ensuite & separate toilet and sofa and lounge chairs. Offstreet parking, easy access to the city by bus/train, walking distance to local shops (supermarket, cafes, pharmacy). Make yourself at home! The space Light, warm, quiet, private with stunning views, comfy beds, lounge chairs, great breakfast and home made cookies and surrounded by great NZ art. A caring hosts with 5 star ratings with off street parking - what more do you need! Our house is located on a hill with stunning views, close to the CBD and Ferry and up a drive way (which you can drive up and park your car). You can leave your car and go to town via bus (bus stop at the bottom of the driveway) that takes approximately 15-20 min to the CBD runs every 30 min. The train is about 15 min walk away and runs every 30 min. The Ferry to the South Island is 10-15 minutes drive. Entry to the house is up some steps (18 ) to the front door or if the case is heavy via a path to the back of the house with only 2 step! You’ll need to be able to climb the internal stairs (11 steps) to your private haven. Check out the entry and stairs in the photo. With majestic view of the harbour and hills from your private haven, there are two large bedrooms - each with their own seating area. The first room has two single beds and its own toilet with hand basin and shares the shower in the ensuite in the other bedroom. From this bedroom you'll enter the lovely large king bedroom complete with its own ensuite with shower, double wardrobe and comfy lounge chairs also with a great view of the harbour and hills. Tea and coffee facilities are there for you to enjoy along with home made cookies! A complementary continental breakfast (home made granola, juice, fruit, homemade sour dough bread with spreads) Breakfast is served in the dining room at the foot of the internal stairs. Guest access Drive on up to offstreet parking - a luxury in Wellington! The rooms are part of our main house with internal stairs. Your welcome to use the dining area and sitting room where the TV is located. There will be a small charge for using the laundry. During your stay The rooms are set up to provide an independent and private space for our guests, however, we pride ourselves on being welcoming, sharing and approachable. We will do everything we can to answer any questions and accommodate any requirements that you have during your stay. The kitchen is not available to guests. The laundry maybe available with a small charge. We hope to meet and greet all our guests, however, this isn’t always possible, at such times we will expect you to let yourself in and make yourself at home. Other things to note House Rules No smoking No eating or drinking of alcohol in the bedrooms- apart from the cookies and tea and coffee provided!! Not suitable for pets or children No parties or events Check-in (after 5pm - earlier by prior arrangement) and check-out (10am) times are strict and must be adhered to. We often have guest leaving and arriving the same day, the time in-between must be kept free to prepare the rooms. Be considerate of noise if sitting outside in the early morning and evening, and no visitors except by prior arrangement. Please do not use the room for activities that are likely to cause unreasonable damage to the room. For example, preparing and eating food and drinking alcohol in such a way that is likely to result in damage to surfaces or carpet staining.
