The space The Tranquillo property is located in a mountain village in a quiet location and with magnificent mountain views. Nevertheless, you can quickly get to the town of Aulla, 5 km away, or to the highway access, 6 km away. The house is occupied by the guest alone and has a living area of 75 m². It is a private vacation home that is also rented to guests. The host is not on site, but there is a contact person for emergencies. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a balcony. On the ground floor is the living and dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people. Next to it is a kitchen with pots, dishes and cutlery, a large fridge with freezer and a hot plate. There is also a terrace with a table, chairs and a parasol. The village of Bibola is a car-free village with footpaths or stairs and very nice inhabitants. 2 free parking spaces below and above the village are available, approx. 3 minutes' walk from the house. Bibola is 300 m higher than the nearest town of Aulla. There are no special sights in Aulla itself, but you get everything you need: supermarkets, restaurants or hardware stores. In the morning, the sun often shines in Bibola, while there is still fog in the valley. There are also springs with free, fresh drinking water nearby. The property is ideal for hiking (Via Francigena) or for trips to the sea, Cinque Terre, Carrara or Pisa. Guest access How do I find the house? It is best to park in the lower parking lot, at the bus stop. Go up the path 50 m, then towards Via Francigena and after 50 m turn right steeply up to an archway. There's a small short-term parking lot there. From there, go straight on a narrow footpath, about 100 m, then you will find the yellow house on the left (Via Di Mezzo 2). If you know your way around, you can also park a little further up, below the archway. Other things to note If you are in Bibola, don't miss going to the castle ruins at night! The path is mostly illuminated. Here you can see a beautiful starry sky in clear weather. You have the feeling of floating in peace and quiet far above the hustle and bustle in the valley.
