Located at the top of the Carmo neighborhood, at the foot of Morro do Frota, this cozy house is surrounded by trees and has a pleasant balcony where you can lie in the hammock and listen to the birds singing. Next to the historic center, crossing the bridge over the Rio das Almas, it is ideal for those who want to enjoy the city without being bothered by the hustle and bustle of the bars, even on holidays and popular festivals, such as the Cavalhadas. Close to the entrances to the Vagafogo Wildlife Sanctuary and the Bonsucesso Waterfalls. The space At the entrance, there is a large, shaded balcony that opens onto the living room space, consisting of a table in the American kitchen equipped for preparing meals. In the living room, there is a sofa bed on which you can sit to watch television, in addition to serving as a bed for up to two people. In the bedroom, there is a double bed with two nightstands and a dresser where we provide towels and bedding. On the living room furniture, there are two hammocks that can be set up on the balcony. We offer Wi-Fi internet access (Fiber Optic). We have a 32" SMART TV with access to open channels (Globo and SBT) and the possibility of accessing streaming platforms such as Youtube, Globoplay and Netflix (it is necessary to have a login to watch non-free content). In addition, we also have a DVD player and a selection of movies, music shows and books on the shelf next door. We offer a portable fan that can be taken from one room in the house to another. The space also has a service area with a tank. In the backyard there are some fruit trees, such as mango and pitanga. The entire chalet and backyard space is private, available only to guests. The land is completely enclosed and isolated, with a wall and screen. We provide a charcoal barbecue and barbecue utensils. Pets must remain outside the house. Guest access We offer a parking space inside the property, through a padlocked gate. There is no masonry cover, but it is a shaded area, covered by trees. The Carmo neighborhood is very quiet and safe, right next to the Historic Center. To get there, just cross the Rio das Almas. There are two bridges with access for cars. The most traditional and oldest is the wooden one, which is one of the city's postcards, near the Divine Museum and the Carmo Church. It serves both cars and pedestrians and has a single direction, so it can sometimes get congested, especially on weekends. There is also another more recent concrete bridge that connects Carmo to Vila Matutina and is close to the Pirenópolis Bus Station. There are two other wooden suspension bridges, these for pedestrians only, a few meters away from the old bridge. Therefore, you can choose to drive around or walk and explore this riverside circuit that lies between Carmo and the Historic Center.
