Cozy Chalet in Itatiaia

We have this cottage for 20 years. It was idealized and built by my husband as a place of peace and reconnection with nature. It's 3 hours from Rio de Janeiro. It's located in Serra da Mantiqueira, with front view of the Itatiaia National Park. The space This canadian cottage was built (handmande) by a friend of us with wood and windows só we could feel closer to the nature around us. The house is in a plateau with a 360 degree view. We didn’t have eletric light until five years ago but the arrival of a newborn made us start a new cycle. We still use candle lights sometimes to bring back the old times. Guest access The property is inside a hotel’s farm. Besides the hotel, there are lots of houses spread around. There are some homemade food restaurants along the main road, a cozy pizzeria and also small grocery stores, but it’s better if you bring food and other supplies. Other things to note Please be careful with fire because it`s a wood house! We are 30 minutes by car from one of the entrances of the Itatiaia National Park.
