Other things to note A few important things to know before you arrive: OOTY ENTRY PASS — MANDATORY FOR ALL VEHICLES All visitors arriving by vehicle must register for an Ooty Entry Pass online before entering the city. Search "Ooty Entry Pass" on Google, fill in your vehicle and stay details, and generate your pass. Entry is limited to 6,000 vehicles per day — during peak season (April–May, December), please generate your pass well in advance to avoid delays at the entry checkpoint. PLASTIC-FREE ZONE Ooty enforces a strict plastic ban. Carrying plastic water bottles, bags, or disposable items can result in heavy fines from local authorities. You do not need to bring bottled water — we provide safe, filtered drinking water on all floors at no charge. BREAKFAST Complimentary South Indian breakfast is served between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM daily. Lunch and dinner are available on prior request — freshly prepared in-house, vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at additional cost. EXTRA GUESTS Any guest beyond the booked occupancy will be charged ₹1,000 per night. This includes an extra bed and breakfast for that guest.
