Surrounded by lush gardens and nestled in one of the quieter parts of town, the units offer a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy the occasional visit from local monkeys and other wildlife. Additionally, you’ll find a local surf school and board rental shops just around the corner, while the vibrant town center is only about a 10-minute walk away. This ideal location provides the perfect balance between a tranquil neighborhood atmosphere and easy access to Guiones' retail and dining areas. With over 40 restaurants in town and a variety of activities to choose from, Nosara promises an experience that won’t disappoint. Other things to note Local Quirks While the infrastructure in Costa Rica is improving, it is highly likely that you will experience power, water and internet outages at some point during your stay. We consider it part of the fun of experiencing another country and culture. All of these outages are beyond the control of the homeowner and the management company and may come without advance notice. Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities. As such, there may be noise from construction projects in the area typically between the hours of 7am and 5pm, but can begin as early as 6am. We do our best to update our properties impacted by construction, however, we are not always provided advance notice of a project. If you have any questions at all, please contact us in advance of booking your stay as refunds and concessions will not be given for any of the reasons above as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. Rental Agreement By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests have assumed the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Your safety and well-being is a top priority for us, so we ask that you please assist us by taking the following steps. Nosara is a beachfront community, no different than many throughout Central America, where petty theft is a common issue for both residents and tourists. As a result, we offer some to tips to help prevent these annoying crimes: 1. Keep all doors and windows locked any time you are away from the property and at night. If you find that a lock is not working properly, please contact us immediately. 2. Do not leave any valuables or personal items outside your rental when you leave the house. This includes electronics, identification documents and anything else of apparent monetary value. 3. Keep your vehicles locked at all times, and do not leave valuables in plain sight when you are out and about. Some travel insurance companies insure against theft, and as such, we recommend your consideration of this to help further protect your belongings. Please note that even when following all precautionary measures, there is always a potential risk. As such, Owners and Property Managers are not responsible for the loss of any items due to theft. RENTAL RULES AND CONDITIONS The property is located in a residential neighborhood and quiet hours begin at 9 pm. This noise ordinance is strictly enforced, and we appreciate your cooperation. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. A waste paper basket will be present in the bathrooms for disposal of all other products. Flushable wipes are NOT flushable. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Any and all damages caused by the Rental Party or excessive cleaning required is to be taken from the damage deposit. This home and property is privately owned; the Owner(s) and Manager(s) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Owner(s) and Manager(s) are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. The presence of insects in a home is not uncommon with the environment in Costa Rica. The Owner(s) and Manager(s) are not responsible beyond what they cannot control. If you have any concerns, please contact the Manager(s) prior to booking. Smoking is NOT allowed inside any one of the buildings, structures, or home. Smoking is allowed outside the property only. Guests other than those previously registered may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of guest. Only use appliances for their intended use. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Bathroom towels from the home are not to be taken to the beach. Keys: The Rental Party agrees to return all keys prior to checkout. Failure to do so will result in a $150 charge. The Rental Party agrees not to use the premises for any and/or improper purposes, nor permit any disturbances to the surrounding inhabitants, neighbors, or nature areas.
