Condado Apartment - Ashford Avenue

This 6th story non smoking apartment, in a high rise Condomium building, overlooks Ashford Avenue in the Condado District, and has a view of the Atlantic Ocean. Just a block away from Condado Beach, Ashford Avenue has casinos, restaurants, and shopping accessible without a car. Condado is an urban residence and tourism area in the largest, and capital, city of San Juan. The apartment has wi-fi internet, and a secure dedicated parking spot in an underground garage. Capacity 2 guests only. The space New windows and sliding door are installed (end of 2018). With thicker and laminated glass, noise from the street is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced from what it was. Photos have been updated. New blinds have also been installed. A new top grain leather sofa (not for sleeping on) has been delivered. The apartment is a studio that was converted into a one bedroom. The walls, ceiling, and floors are concrete several inches thick, and the entrance door is solid wood. Five other apartments share the same floor, and all use the same elevator lobby to come and go from. The front of the apartment, looking toward the Atlantic Ocean, consists of windows and a sliding door leading to a balcony. In April 2017, the air conditioner was replaced with a unit that is quieter and more energy efficient. The bed frame has been replaced, and new a new dresser purchased as well. The bedroom has a queen size bed. There is no other space for sleeping besides the bed, maximum capacity is strictly no more than two people. The apartment includes wi-fi, a cook top, microwave, full size refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, towels and linens, and cable TV. A small ice cooler is available for outside excursions. There are also large flat screen televisions in each room with cable service. A dedicated parking spot in the secure underground garage is included with this rental. The bathroom was remodeled in 2021, and new tiles installed everywhere else including the balcony. Guest access The building has 24 hour security, and access to the elevators and areas outside the lobby is secured to authorized people only. The common areas are monitored by security cameras and a recording system. You'll be able to access the apartment, as well as the swimming pool, free internet hot spots on the ground floor and lobby, laundry facilities and gym equipment on the second floor. Other things to note By law, 7% hotel occupancy tax must be collected on the cost of lodging and cleaning fee. The amount has been included in the listed prices, and will be submitted by the owner to the Treasury of Puerto Rico. The location is about a 15 minute drive from Luis Munoz Rivera International Airport. Taxis are readily available outside baggage claim. Uber is available in designated areas of the Airport outside the lower level baggage claim. There are more expensive car rental companies on Airport property, and there are options involving taking a short ride on a free shuttle to off Airport rental locations where possibly better deals on car rentals can be found. The Airport is in the Municipality of Carolina, and not actually in San Juan. Bookings are only accepted from guests with the green "verified ID" badge and MUST include submission of a valid government ID to AirBnb. Guest must provide their legal name that matches their government ID and must be present and occupy the apartment during the rental period. ID is verified at check in. Paper towels and toilet paper are provided, as well as beach and/or pool towels. Guests may have to go shopping for supplies, food, water, beverages, etc, depending on their intended use of the vacation rental.
