Other things to note The distance from the house to Mozambique beach along the trail is fifteen minutes. The trail is beautiful and easy to access. One part wooden deck, another part forest, pine forests and a small part dune. For access to the other beaches by car, the distances are as follows: east of the island, Barra da Lagoa beach is 10 minutes, Praia Mole is 15 minutes, and Joaquina beach is 20 minutes. To the north of the island, Praia dos Ingleses is 20 minutes, Praia do Santinho is 25 minutes and Canasvieiras is 25 minutes. The lake terminal for boat trips to the lagoon coast is an 8-minute drive from the house. Access to the lagoon coast is only by boat or trail.
