Description
The Rancho is a private property of 1 Hectare in front of the beach totally adequate for your next family or friends vacation, it have 8 beds for 10 people and 2 bathrooms. Is very private and located in a peaceful place, just 15 minutes away driving from Puerto Jimenez. The space The rancho is a private retreat on the Golfo Dulce that provides a perfect vantage point for bird watching and animal viewing. Beautiful scarlet macaws, green parrots and toucans stop to feast on almonds and fruits in the yard in clear site for photography. There are avocados, lemons, almonds, water apples, bananas, papaya, oregano and cilantro growing on the property. Colorful butterflies and busy hummingbirds are abundant as they fly amongst the flowers. Howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, spider monkeys, and capuchin monkeys travel through the property and seem to prefer the trees near the beach. Be sure to enjoy the beauty of the heliconia blooms and the varieties of palm trees. If you look carefully, you may spot a sloth resting on the branch of a tree. The wide, covered deck of the rancho features hammocks and swings for relaxing. The first floor has a full bathroom, large dining room area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a refrigerator and freezer as well as a gas range. The second floor also has a full bathroom, two bedrooms with queen size beds and a large room with three sets of bunk beds. There are ceiling fans and lighting throughout the rancho. If you prefer to shower outdoors, there is a shower in the yard, surrounded by a flowering hibiscus tree for a little privacy. There is a covered outdoor laundry area and clotheslines for drying the clothes in the sun. The rancho has both city water and well water. During the day you may see little bats sleeping on the outside of the screens upstairs. At night they hunt for insects to eat, so they are very important and beneficial to us. Imagine walking down the short path from the rancho to the beach area for a swim in the warm, clear water of the Golfo Dulce. Although the Golfo has high and low tides, it does not have ocean waves, so the water is peaceful and calm for swimming or for floating. Herons and egrets fish in the Golfo. You may see the local people fishing in front of the mangroves during the changing tides. We frequently have seen dolphins swimming past the beach area in the Golfo Dulce. When you swim after dark you may be able to see the bioluminescence of the phosphorus plankton in the Golfo Dulce as you listen to the tree frog serenade.
