Two-Story Beach Side Casita #3

This casita, completed in 2020, is one of four at El Puesto Del Sol and is known as Casita #3. Nestled in the beautiful Tola region, it sits on a small cliff with stunning views of both Playa Amarillo & Playa Gigante, both just a short walk away. Playa Amarillo is a fantastic surf spot, while Playa Gigante offers its own charm. Though a 4x4 is recommended for reaching the top, you can also park further down & walk up. It’s the perfect escape for those seeking nature, relaxation, and adventure. The space Your casita is thoughtfully designed with a sturdy build and features a lovely, fully equipped kitchen downstairs along with a spotless bathroom. A wooden, steep staircase leads up to the bedroom—please note there’s no handrail, so it’s best to take care when going up and down. The second-floor bedroom is spacious and filled with natural light, featuring a large ceiling fan. With two windows offering stunning views—eastward to Playa Gigante and westward to Playa Amarillo—you'll enjoy both the sunrise over the jungle and the sunset over the sea. A constant cooling breeze adds to the comfort thanks to the wind direction. The kitchen is simple yet has everything you need to prepare meals. Outside, there's a paved area overlooking a sea cliff, offering panoramic views of Playa Amarillo and Playa Colorado. Sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking—perfect to enjoy with neighbors, friends, or a cold beer in hand. Playa Amarillo is known for its fun surf break, with a friendly atmosphere both in the water and in the village. You can buy fresh mahi-mahi caught that day at amazing prices and grill it for dinner, pairing it with fresh fruit for dessert. While it might be tempting to pinch pennies while traveling, you’ll find that spending in the village—whether renting surfboards, enjoying fish tacos, grabbing cold beers, or finding the local laundry lady—genuinely supports the beautiful community. Board rentals are available at Room to Roam and Todd’s Surf Rental in town, and you can take a boat to different surf spots, go fishing, or take Spanish lessons at Spanish School Pie de Gigante. For water, you can get refillable 5-gallon bottles at nearby La Cascada Hostel or Dale’s. This is a peaceful, quiet place to rejuvenate your soul. **WIFI:** Each casita has its own router, providing a steady connection of around 15 Mbps, more than enough for video calls. However, our area’s internet provider occasionally experiences service interruptions beyond our control. While this is rare, please expect a few brief outages during your stay. Other things to note How to find us: On your own: There is a Bus that leaves the Rivas Mercado at 1:30 PM and arrives in Gigante around 3:30. From here it's a 10 min. walk to your Casita. Taxi: We can arrange you an airport pick-up or help you to take your cab to the right place :)
