16' yurt with full view of Denali on a clear day, and 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains. Fully furnished with electricity, water, and a propane cooking stove, this setup is perfect for avoiding the crowds of the park but still experience true Alaskan beauty. And in the winter, it can be an excellent Northern Lights viewing area! The space Located near Cantwell, a mile off the Denali Highway. Firewood is available for purchase ($10 a bundle) and fully stocked outhouse for bathroom needs. Bedding is also supplied along with full kitchen pots, pans, and utensils. Toyo stove heat is now installed for easy temperature control. We have a mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker along with a K-cup per guest. Additional cups available for $1 each. Guest access The yurt is 210 miles north of Anchorage, 150 miles south of Fairbanks, and 29 miles south of the entrance to Denali Park. Other things to note -Must wash dishes, strip bedding, and sweep floor before leaving. -The driveway is steep but can be accessed with a car in the summer and most of the winter.
