Description
This ryokan is a designated historical building of Aizu Wakamatsu City, and was beautifully renovated as ryokan from a 140-year-old medicine wholesaler and warehouse. Japanese cypress bath is iconic feature. The bus is very functionable with an anytime water heating function and the relaxing scent of hinoki (Japanese cypress) in the bathroom. The bath is also equipped with two showers. The space NO CHILDREN under 13 years old. Our property is a historic building, and even minor damage may result in significant repair costs. Recently, we had an incident where guests with children caused damage to walls and sliding doors, resulting in a large compensation claim. Before check-in, the property owner conducts a thorough inspection and takes photos of the room. If any damage is found after check-out, the guest will be held liable for compensation. If you believe you may not be able to fulfill the liability for damages, you can cancel your reservation free of charge within 2weeks of booking. Spring: You can enjoy cherry blossom viewing at Tsuruga Castle, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot. Cherry blossoms in the snowy area can be enjoyed up close because the branches are low due to the weight of the snow. Tsurugajo Castle: 20-minute walk Iimoriyama (Iimori Hill) : 7 minutes by car (33-minute walk) Hideyo Noguchi Youth Museum: 10-minute walk Nisshinkan, Aizu domain school: 15 minutes by car A 1-minute walk will take you to a local public bath, and a 3-minute walk will take you to a 7-Eleven. Free on-site parking is available, and there are many tourist attractions within a 10-minute drive, including Mt. Iimori and Tsurugajo Castle. Many restaurants and shops just around corner.
