The amenities are modern with many custom-built features. We are proud to offer an impeccably clean and well maintained home for your private getaway. You'll enjoy a 3m wide covered patio that wraps around the entire mountain home with amazing views of coffee farms and the Andes mountains. If you have children there is tons of open space for them to safely run, play and explore. If you’re not a kid you have tons of space to run, play and explore! :) You can hike and cycle right out your front door or hang out on hammocks sipping coffee or your favourite South American wine. An amazing mix of adventure and tranquillity 15 minutes from the timeless pueblo of Jardin, and 3 hrs from Medellin. Mariposa is perfect for short or extended stays to relax, work or write. Guest access The entire 5 acre / 2 hectare working coffee finca is yours to explore. Including your immersion in all things coffee, you can step out your door to pick oranges, lemons, guava, pineapple and avocado. The Finca is well equipped with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful modern bathrooms, laundry facilities and strong Wifi. Working from the finca or enjoying your favourite movies on your tablet or laptop is not a problem. Note: The 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds is not a separate room. It is located on a comfortable semi-private mezzanine overlooking the common area of the house. Other things to note The owners, Maria Jose and Dave are Canadians, with deep roots in Colombia. They live part of the year Colombia and part in Canada. Our on-site hosts, Daniel and Andrea, live in their own casita steps away from the main house and will be available throughout your stay to help with transportation, how to reserve other tours in Jardin, and any questions you might have about life in rural Colombia. Our guests come to our farm (finca) looking for a genuine immersion in Colombian farm life, culture, coffee and access to fun and unique adventures.
