#6 Freshwater is a first floor apartment that offers views of our tropical gardens and the stunning turquoise blue ocean. The apartment is FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED and offers 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. From the patio you have views of the ocean and in a few steps you can be on the beach enjoying the white sands between your toes and having a casual swim in the cool calm caribbean waters. The space Freshwater Bay is one of the best kept secrets on the island. Your journey begins when you take that turn off of the Mighty Grynner Highway onto a private road. You first view the large Light and Power station and you start to wonder if you have made the right decision booking this apartment. As you round the first corner, there is a small fishing village with fishermen attending to their boats and roaming chickens casually going about their daily routine. Your concerns heighten about this location, Freshwater Bay sign emerges on your left. Upon opening the wooden gate to the facility from the car park your breath is immediately taken away by the beauty of this place. The vibrant colourful flowers and tropical fauna that line the small pathway towards the lush gardens sprinkled with coconut trees which naturally welcomes you in. Meandering down the short pathway the beauty of the stunning, calm ocean boasts of hundreds of shades of blue which is just steps away from your apartment. Now surrounded by the tropical gardens you are enticed to sit under the shaded palm trees to read, lay on the loungers and sun bath or sit in the Gazebo and watch the cruise ships or the local fishing and sail boats pass lazily by. However before you get lost in just what to do first you have to get settled. #6 is on the first floor FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED apartment and offers an open plan concept. The entrance leads you into the large living area which offers a futon couch and two large lounge chairs. The living room naturally leads you to the patio is an ideal place for dining or just sitting and enjoying the ocean views. Off of the living room, which offers a large 55" smart TV for your entertainment, is the second bathroom. The Galley style kitchen which is outfitted with white countertops and blue trim is fully equipped with an electric oven, microwave and large fridge. In addition there is ample cupboard space. Next to the kitchen is the air-conditioned, large master bedroom that boasts a King size four poster bed and built-in cupboards. The master bathroom is en-suite with a large shower. The apartment has for your use and enjoyment two garden loungers, FREE wifi and FREE parking for one vehicle in the car park. For Laundry, there is a laundry building by the car park with washers and dryers. The washers are $5.00 Bds per load. You use your own detergent (It takes Bds single dollar coins). The Dryers are FREE. In the garden, enjoy the shared gazebo and BBQ and just steps away from your apartment are the glorious beaches. Guest access Guest have access to the entire apartment and all of the communal grounds. Other things to note During the week and Sundays there is Colin's Bar next door. Great place to purchase beers, grab a drink and try the local fish. A true Bajan Bar and a great experience. The power plant near the fishing village occasionally runs its generator, and you can hear a faint hum as exhaust fumes escape. However, this happens occasionally, and once inside the AC, you do not notice it.
