I have three beautiful, separate, self-contained AirBnBs placed carefully for privacy at 'Dark Moon Farm' - in a highly sought after location where I have lived for over 20 years. For couples wanting to spend time on the Sunshine Coast, Dark Moon Farm has everything you could ever wish for and is central to a large range of good beaches, markets, walks, shopping & the airport. I look forward to your enquiry : ) The space Dark Moon Farm can host up to 12 people in total - eight in the house, two in the the Cottage and two in the TIny House. Dark Moon Farm is a 45-acre property in a private valley exactly half way between Coolum Beach and Eumundi. This means we are close to patrolled beaches, riverfront parks, and mountains to climb at Noosa, Sunshine, Sunrise, Peregian, Coolum, Yaroomba Marcoola & Mudjimba. Or go inland to find markets, cinemas, food & beverage experiences - Pomona, Cooroy, Doonan, Eumundi, Yandina, Palmwoods & Bli Bli. Originally a macadamia orchard, it is being very gradually re-forested and developed into a peaceful, natural retreat. Dark Moon Cottage is a Bali-inspired, fully air-conditioned, one bedroom space with a luxurious king-size bed, a venetian rendered ensuite and Sheridan linen. The vintage record player and amplifier are Luxman, a sought after mid 70's Japanese brand and the record collection is big and diverse. The outdoor courtyard offers Stargazing/Soaking in it's amazing black "Byron Wave" open-air bath and an incredible fire pit for the colder months. The modern well-equipped kitchen overlooking the trees offers a Nespresso machine, a microwave, a full size fridge, a dishwasher, an oven, a 4 hotplate cooktop and a triple-filtered UV treated rainwater—pure, fresh, and completely safe to drink. Relax in the spacious, air-conditioned lounge with oversized leather couch, 65” smart TV, and Bluetooth sound system—ideal for stretching out and slowing down. A second private outdoor area is perfect for meals or a drink in the fresh air with a four burner BBQ and a folding dining table. High-speed Starlink WiFi throughout. Extras available after booking. We always offer the best possible nightly rate. Professionally cleaned with care between every stay. We provide two towels, two face washers, two hand towels and two bathmats – all by Sheridan. We are only 20 minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport. 🌿 Guest access Automated gate - access using your phone's bluetooth. (Details are sent on day of checkin) Cottage is unlocked on arrival. Key is provided in kitchen. Parking is on a sealed carpark 20 metres from the front door. Please note: there are a few other cottages - each very carefully placed for privacy, spaced out across the 45 acre property. We ask and advise that you do not bush walk here without consulting us first. Firepit is very special locally sculpted piece, use recommended in June, July and August only due to bushfire risk. Please check local daily fire restriction details before lighting a fire. Firewood - is available by request after booking or please bring your own. Don't forget newspaper and matches to start. 🌿 Firewood in the wild forest is not really suitable, is often damp... but is included at your own risk. Please be careful. Dry bagged firewood and kindling is available from most service stations, hardware shops and some roadside stalls. No pets. No smoking inside. Dark Moon Cottage is on the edge of the forest and you may cross paths with insects, moths, spiders and wildlife. Remember to keep any unscreened door and windows closed - particularly at night because they are attracted to lights.
