A Little Casita

The space The house is located in the historic neighborhood of Paseo de la Presa on one side of the Palace of the Dam and in front of the monument of Sostenes Rocha. El centro de la ciudad se encuentra a 20 minutos caminando o a 10 minutos en camión o coche. Esta casa de dos pisos es cómoda y acogedora para 2 o 5 personas. Tiene una habitación cuna cama matrimonial y una habitación con una cama individual, cada una con baño privado. En la sala de TV hay un sofá cama matrimonial. En la planta baja se encuentra la cocina, comedor, sala y un medio baño. Algunos de los muebles son antiguos y un poco frágiles así que agrademos que los traten con cuidado. Enfrente de la casa está el parque Florencio Antillon que los lleva a la Presa de la Olla desde donde pueden tomar varias caminatas para disfrutar de la vista escénica de la ciudad de Guanajuato. Cerca de la casa hay varios cafés y restaurantes. Exactamente debajo de la casa está el restaurante Amatxi que ofrece comida international y platillos del País Vasco. A pie de calle se encuentra el Bistro de la Presa. The house is located in the historic Paseo de la Presa district just minutes, (10 by taxi or 10 by bus or 20 walking), from downtown Guanajuato, one of the most beautiful, historical and romantic cities in Mexico. This cute two-story home is comfortable and cozy. It is fully furnished. There are two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. One Bedroom has a full sized bed and the other has a single. In the family room there is a full sized hide-a-bed. Across the street, there is a beautiful park and just up the street is a reservoir (La Presa) from which you can begin several scenic hikes. Near the house there are several nice cafes and restaurants. Directly below the house is a fine dinning restaurant “Amatxi” which specializes in international dishes and Vasque plates from the northern region of Spain. At street level is the “Bistro” de la Presa which serves breakfast and lunch and the menu contains many traditional Mexican dishes. Both restaurants are owned and operated by our family who live in Guanajuato. We are a bi-cultural family (Guadalupe, Yamile & Scott) living in the United States and hope to share our cute house in Guanajuato with someone who can appreciate it and who wants to experience the wonderful ambiance of Guanajuato. Other things to note A few of our pieces of furniture are antiques and a bit fragile (as you might be if you were as old as they are). We would appreciate it if you treat them gently but by all means, enjoy them as we do. Unas cuantas piezas de nuestros muebles son antigüedades y frágiles.
