This apartment with air conditioning can house up to 4 guests and is located just 8 minutes from the airport, it is the entire 2nd floor of a new building in a two room configuration: a bedroom with a fully equipped kitchenette and a living room/dining space with plenty of natural sunlight and a big window to main street. There is an extra table & chairs available for dining or they can be used as a desk area for work. It has a full bathroom laid out complete with towels and toiletries. -Upon request, we can accommodate another guest in the living room (I will provide a sofa bed, sheets, pillows, and bed liners for an extra fee of $15 per night). Just let us know in advance. -The apartment can house comfortably up to four guests. Within 3 blocks around there are two ATMs, 4 convenience stores, Pharmacies, 4 pizza restaurants, 3 fast food, 2 barber shops, 2 shopping centers like Plaza Real with bars and multiplex cinema, a vast array of semi open – air fast food outlets, banks and bars. - 5 blocks away there are two gas stations, McDonald, Taco Bell, 2 big bank offices (Banco BAC, Banco Nacional), El Patio food court. -You can spend all day long in Alajuela Town and visit places like the Central Park, Central Market, Juan Santamaría Museum, Juan Santa María Park or even go to Poas Volcano and The Peace Waterfall that are located 45 minutes away. The apartment has a great central location: - 10 min from SJO AIRPORT by car. - Close to public transportation: just in front of the Airbnb there is a bus stop that will take you to the main bus station and from there to San José, Poas Volcano and other cities. - 5 min away by car from the North Bus Station (Central de Autobuses del Norte), that will take you to Jaco, Liberia, La Fortuna, Monteverde and the most important attractions. -Our neiborhood is called La Agonía and is the center of night life and the most popular area in Alajuela, with plenty of entertainment and dining options. For your transfer from our place to SJO International Airport there is an official taxi service called “Taxis Unidos”, I have been using them for years. The price is reasonable, always on time and you will be safe with them. We let guests to do an early check in or late check out if available, let us know in advance. Security advice: as in most cities in the world, please: -Do not accept help from strangers to move your luggage. -Don't give money or tips to strangers -Please do not leave valuables in your car, make sure they are not visible -If there is no parking space in front of the property, please find the closest public parking lot and then you can move your belongings safely. Parking is available less than 2 minutes walking. -Make sure to close the front door securely when entering and leaving. -Enjoy your stay in our beautiful town, there are beautiful and friendly people. As in any city, you must take care of yourself and be attentive. -We are located in a lively commercial area of Alajuela city with plenty of entertainment and dinning options within walking distance.
