This modern, bright, cool and comfortable two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is situated in a small gated complex in a quiet neighborhood, just one block off the South Coast road and beaches. Maple Gardens is only a two minute stroll from the crystal clear Caribbean Sea with its soft sandy beaches and the popular 1.5km boardwalk that borders the southern coastline. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Boardwalk, which extends to Hastings. This has become a favorite activity among locals and visitors alike– a wonderful place to exercise, watch the sunset, grab a sumptuous meal and spot nesting sea turtles. The boardwalk is the easiest way to get to the spectacular Accra Beach (Rockley), one of the most popular stretches of beach on the island. Local food, beach chairs, umbrella rentals, excellent swimming and snorkeling are all available there. The opposite end of the boardwalk leads you to tranquil reef pools and then on to the renowned Hilton Hotel, Carlisle Bay and then to the capital of Bridgetown. This ideal location is in close proximity to a shopping centre with the conveniences of an ATM, bank, small grocery store, pharmacy, boutiques, coffee shops, fast food eateries. It is also walking distance to the cutting edge and world renowned Fertility Clinic. There are also several excellent restaurants within a short distance including Champers, Tapas, Blakeys, Baby Doll and Salt to name a few. The historic Garrison Savannah, is a pleasant 15 minute walk away, and is surrounded by historic buildings. It has been home to horse-racing dating back to the 1800s. Bridgetown, and its Garrison, has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Public transportation and taxis are readily available just steps away from the apartment. Welcome pack on arrival on request. Housekeeping: A cleaning fee for housekeeping of USD$100.00 is added to the bill at the AirBnB site for each booking. An additional US$75 fee is added for any period after the initial seven days, and for each subsequent week or part thereof. Floor Area: • Approx. 1100 sq. ft. Please refrain from standing on the countertops. Cleaning supplies are in the cupboard under the sink. A broom is next to the fridge A mop and bucket are on the patio Bedrooms: • 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4 • Bedroom 1 (ensuite)– 2 twins that are configured as a King • Bedroom 2 – 2 twins that can convert to a King Notes on bedrooms: Both bedrooms have large built in wardrobes, Air-conditioning and standing fans. Air conditioners should always be turned off when guests are not in the rooms. Also, please ensure that the windows and doors are closed when the air conditioners are on. Sheets and towels are provided. Blow dryers are in the bathroom. Ironing board and iron are provided. A safe is installed in the master bedroom. Guest access All areas of the apartment are accessible to the guests, except one storage cupboard that is for owners use only. A shared laundry is situated on the first floor of the building. Other things to note Only REGISTERED GUESTS are allowed to stay in the apartment. Certain hair products (like dye) and body lotions/ oils/ sun creams/makeup/mosquito repellant stain the bedding and towels, so please take care as you will be a charged for any items that have to be replaced if the stains cannot be removed. Please refrain from sitting on any upholstered furniture or beds in wet swimsuits or when wearing sun cream. Please shake all sand out of towels and clothing before putting in the washing machine and dryer. Please refrain from taking glass containers into the pool or garden areas.
