The idea is for you to feel like you are in a natural environment, coexisting with nature, surrounded by wildlife, but with a high level of comfort. The glamping is very cozy and designed for you to feel immersed in nature while enjoying luxury amenities. Each glamping unit is set in a natural environment, just steps from the sea, surrounded by tropical vegetation and wildlife. They include luxury orthopedic mattresses, premium sheets and towels, a deck, and a private bathroom (designed so you can observe monkeys and birds while you shower…). The idea of our space is to allow you to disconnect from the everyday. Our emphasis is on respecting and preserving the environment and living in harmony with nature. It’s important to adapt to nature, stepping away from conventional urban standards. We are 100% focused on conservation. All our efforts are aimed at conserving and protecting wildlife, the environment, and natural resources. This entire area of the Osa Peninsula is OFF GRID: energy is solar, water comes from a well, we recycle, renew, and strive to be original, creative, and different. We seek to distance ourselves from urban standards while still providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Before making a reservation, please consider: The tropical climate, potential high temperatures in summer, high humidity levels, wildlife, insects, and more.... We would love to have you with us, but we understand that this is not the right place for everyone. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us 😊 In addition to these new bungalows near the sea, we also offer 3 other glamping units (set amidst tropical vegetation) and a private house with 2 bedrooms and fully equipment kitchen (Four Monkeys Eco Lodge – the House). Guest access Four Monkeys Eco Lodge is set in an area of 20,000 square meters. Where the jungle meets the ocean... Just a few steps from the sea. Direct access to a private, clean, safe, and tranquil beach. Monkeys and birds are within reach. You can walk to Rio Tamales, fish, and birdwatch there. You can have fun and enjoy with the Blue Clay a few minutes away. King Louis Waterfall, primary forests, trails, and more are in the area. You can surf in our secluded spots and also at Pan Dulce, Backwash, and Cabo Matapalo, which are 5 km away. Corcovado National Park is 32 km from the lodge. Other things to note Some sections of the road can be challenging; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Although the idea is to disconnect, we offer high-speed internet (Starlink). This is available in the common area and may reach other locations within the property. Puerto Jiménez is 11 km away. In Puerto Jiménez, there are supermarkets, banks, a gas station, laundry service, and more. We recommend purchasing everything you need BEFORE coming to the lodge, as there are no shops in this area. In Puerto Jiménez, there are restaurants. A few kilometers from the lodge, there are two or three more. (Some are closed during the low season.) We offer the perfect combination of jungle and ocean. Direct access to the sea... to an isolated beach, the perfect place to relax, surf, and swim. Enjoy a spectacular sunrise, long walks on the beach, and diving into crystal-clear waters.
