A unique studio located in the castle gardens of the Het Witte Kasteel estate "Het Wagenhuis" is situated on the beautiful Het Witte Kasteel estate in the Brabant village of Loon op Zand. Originally, the building was intended as a parking facility for the cars of Lady Emily Verheijen, the estate’s last aristocratic resident. The attic of this building has now been transformed into a luxury vacation home. An outdoor staircase leads to the well-insulated studio. The high-quality modern furnishings, combined with the attic’s historic character, make your stay truly special. The authentic atmosphere of Het Wagenhuis is still palpable and is enhanced by contemporary elements. You’ll find yourself surrounded by nature, with the historic castle and “Het Neerhuis” in the background. A unique place where you can truly unwind. Het Witte Kasteel and its outbuildings are available for rent as wedding and event venues. Therefore, an event may be taking place somewhere on the estate during your stay. The café in the courtyard is open every Sunday starting at 11:00 a.m. Layout and Facilities of “Het Wagenhuis” 1st Floor The studio is a delightful place to stay for two people and a treat for design enthusiasts. An elongated piece of furniture creates a sense of space and features a pantry and ample storage for your luggage. The dining area, featuring Saarinen’s Tulip table, Vitra dining chairs, the Verner Panton Chair, and Carl Hansen’s CH24 Wishbone chair, creates a light and airy Scandinavian atmosphere on the oak floor. A Bluetooth-enabled radio is provided. The lighting is both surprising and innovative. The studio features a luxurious double box spring measuring 180 by 200 centimeters with Percalle linens. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower with a rain showerhead and a large, adjustable showerhead. There is a sink, a hair dryer, and a separate toilet. Around Het Wagenhuis, there is more than enough space to eat or relax in a comfortable chair.
