The Bower, Menifters, Porthallow, Helston

The Bower is one of 4 holiday cottages at Menifters and situated under the Hayloft. Menifters is surrounded by countryside and is just over 1 mile from Porthallow Cove. Here you can park on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sea views to Falmouth Bay or pick up the South West footpath for a stunning walk along the coast. You can walk to Porthallow from Menifters via a footpath which takes about 25 minutes. Further afield is Helford (4.5 miles) – an idylic village on the Helford river. The space Menifters is set in 4 acres and guests in The Bower are free to wander around to take in the stunning views across the farmland of the Lizard peninsular and in the other direction views to Falmouth Bay and along the Southern coast of Cornwall. The Bower is fully equipped for all your self catering needs. Other things to note Our home dates from about 1920. There was a house on the same spot before but there was a fire and it had to be rebuilt. The holiday cottages are we believe much older and built of stone and granite and held together mainly by cob.
