Hostel Bunk 2 - Girdwood

The bunk room at Alyeska Hostel in Girdwood intended for budget travelers who don't mind sharing space. Linens and blankets are provided NO SLEEPING BAGS ALLOWED. Bunk location (upper or lower) can be requested, but not guaranteed due to other guests with priority. Shared kitchen, common area, and 2 bathrooms with showers. 1 mile walk to Alyeska Resort, or a half mile to the shuttle stop . Located in a residential area. Please drive slowly, (20mph or less). Check in 4pm to 9pm The space Alyeska Hostel provides low cost lodging in Girdwood Alaska, 45 minutes from Anchorage. The Hostel bunk room is co-ed and a shared space with 6 beds. Bunk guests have access to 2 bathrooms with showers, common area and a kitchen. Check in is 4pm to 9pm. Early luggage drop off is available. No cooking is allowed after 9pm. A full size refrigerator is available for use, but guests are expected to label their food so it is not used or thrown away. Recycling is expected. We accept clean glass, plastic, paper and metals. If using the shared kitchen, dishes and cookware need to be cleaned immediately after use and put away. There is soap and a dish rack located under the kitchen sink. Alcohol is not permitted in shared spaces. Smoking and Vaping is not permitted on the property. We are located in a residential area, the speed limit is 20mph. Parking is limited. Do not block other vehicles. Street parking is allowed if there is no other option. Bunk room access instructions are provided after booking. The main doors of the hostel do not get locked overnight. There is no curfew but any arrival or departure during quiet hours is expected to be as quiet as possible. Quiet hours are 9pm-7am.
