The spacious bedroom has a comfortable kingsize bed with a large mirrored wardrobe and there is a lovely contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower. Outside the property there is a shared paved area with bench-style seating; there is also a lovely tea room on site, serving food and drink everyday, and a complimentary pass to Beamish, the open air museum, which is not to be missed. There is also a large open woodland assured picnic area right next door which is perfect for some al-fresco dining, along with a selection of country walking and cycling trails nearby. You can walk down to Causey Arch, the world’s oldest single-arch bridge and even take a trip on the oldest existing steam train in the world at the local Tanfield railway.
