Rockfield has an exceptional location, enjoying spectacular views across St Brides Bay to the west and south, and only 5 minutes walk to the long sandy beach at Broad Haven. The bright, open plan living area opens onto the garden with outdoor seating overlooking the bay, and there is direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coast path. The space Broad Haven is centrally located and ideal for wildlife watching and a seaside holiday. The Blue Flag beach, one of the best in Pembrokeshire, is wonderful for children with its wide stretch of sand and numerous rock pools. The village has a well-stocked shop, cafes and pubs. Horse riding, surfboard and kayak hire are all available locally. Rockfield is centrally located for visits to the north of Pembrokeshire, including St Davids, and convenient for trips to Haverfordwest, Milford Haven, Pembroke and Tenby in the south. There are exceptional wildlife-watching opportunities nearby, with walks along the cliffs and boat trips to see dolphins, seals and the amazing variety of seabirds. ACCOMMODATION Rockfield sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms: 2 doubles, 1 twin and 2 bunkrooms (one leading into a double bedroom). The living area combines the dining and sitting areas. Please let us know if you're bringing a dog (or more) upon booking. - No smoking Other things to note Arrival and car parking There are 2-3 off road parking spaces in the driveway to the house The cottage is accessed from the driveway There are no steps between the car parking area and the front door and there is an outside light There is a standard threshold of about 100mm The cottage can also be accessed from the garden. From the house, a standard threshold of about 100mm leads to a wide step 0.6m wide and 300mm high, leading to a level paved patio area with a stone seat and a view to the sea. Inside Inside, all rooms can be accessed with no change of level There are oak floors throughout the living area and bedrooms, with quarry tiles in the kitchen, bathrooms and hallway The living/dining area is open plan, and there is a woodburner There is a large dining table, with five chairs, a bench to seat 3 adults or 4 children, and there are two folding chairs A high chair requiring simple assembly is provided The kitchen has all modern appliances including fan oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, cordless kettle and blender. The microwave is on a high shelf above the fridge, and should be used with care. There are 3 sofas and two small armchairs. A washing machine and tumble drier are provided in a separate laundry cupboard There is a vacuum cleaner and a range of cleaning equipment A hairdryer is available There are five bedrooms, all with appropriate storage Two are double rooms, one is twin and two are bunkrooms Both double rooms have a writing desk and chair Each bunkroom has two built in bunk beds with built in ladders to access the top bunk One of the bunk rooms leads from one double bedroom A travel cot is available House rules for dog owners Please do not allow dogs on the sofas unless you have brought your own throws to protect the fabric from dog hair. Please do not allow dogs on the beds as muddy paws can stain the bedding Please pick up all dog waste from the garden and put it in the wheelie bin by the gate please do not allow your dog to chew the furniture etc. Outside There are no steps or changes of level between the car parking area and the patio. The rest of the garden is grassed, apart from a gravelled area to the side of the house.
