Fields View is a spacious, family friendly, detached bungalow sleeping 4-6/7 guests in king-size and twin bedrooms plus a sofa bed in lounge, airbed & travel cot. It is situated on Eades Farm, Newbridge, 9 miles from Newport and 5 miles from Yarmouth. The sea is an 8 mins drive. Beautiful country and woodland views are enjoyed from most rooms in this recently refurbished home. Original artwork and prints are featured on the walls. Enclosed garden. Ferry discounts available. The space 'Eades Farm' is a working farm and from the bridleway you can access country walks and woodland. It's not far from the IOW cycle route. There are nearby unspoiled beaches (under 10 mins drive), local pubs/eateries within a short drive and many things to see and do. 'Fields View' is a bungalow situated near the farmhouse but has its own parking area and garden with lovely views. It has been refurbished to a high standard. Entrance Hall – Coat cupboard and hall bench with shoe storage. Doors off to the kitchen diner, living room, both bedrooms, shower room and utility room. Kitchen – Lovely large open plan room with newly fitted kitchen and dining area at one end. Electric oven/grill, ceramic hob, and microwave. Dishwasher. USB charging point. Stainless steel sink and drainer. Kettle. Toaster. Lavazza coffee machine. Fridge and freezer. High chair. Windows to front aspect and side aspect with country views. Door to hallway. Dining Area – Dining table with 6 chairs. Dresser units including drop down writing desk with games storage. Windows to side and rear aspects with views across the fields to Brighstone Forest. Double doors into lounge. Lounge – Cosy living room with smart TV, comfy seating and a sofa bed (small double) on request (bedding supplied). Original artwork and prints are featured on the walls. Two armchairs. Comfy swivel chair and stool. Smart TV. Coffee table. Lamps. Books. Gas stove. Sliding doors to conservatory. Conservatory – Two comfy armchairs, two rattan chairs, rattan table, coffee table and lamp. Fairy lights and sail roof blind. Sliding doors to the garden. Amazing panoramic views. There is a box of garden games in the conservatory for the summer months. Master Bedroom ('Room with a View') – King size bed with bedside tables and lamps. Hand built headboard. USB charging points. Chest of drawers. Dressing table with mirror and stool. Occasional chairs. Full length mirror. 2 large wardrobes. Window to rear aspect with country views. Duvet and pillows on king size bed, bed linen and towels provided. Please bring own beach towels if required. Foam topper, duvet and pillows for sofa bed are stored in one of the wardrobes. Bed linen and towels are provided for sofa bed. A single airbed is also available. Towels provided. Bring own bedding A travel cot with mattress can also be found in the wardrobe. (Please bring cot bedding.) Twin Bedroom ('Coastal Room') – Coastal themed room with 2 single beds, bedside chest and bedside lamps. Hand-built headboards. Driftwood wall mirror. USB charging points. Large wardrobe Duvets and pillows on twin beds, bed linen and towels provided. Please bring own beach towels if required. Shower Room – Walk in shower enclosure. WC. Wash-hand basin with vanity light. Electric heated towel rail. Child's toilet seat and child step stored in cupboard. Utility Room – Door and window to end of bungalow (shed, bins etc.) with tumble dryer, washing machine and an additional WC. Sink and drainer. Cupboards. Tiled floor. Stool. Shaving mirror. This is a lockable room with blinds on doors and window and can be used as an extra wash room Outside – Hardstanding parking area for 2 cars at the front accessed via farmyard and concrete track. Some mud and puddles will be found in the farmyard area at certain times of the year but not in the parking area outside the front door. The garden at the back, mainly lawn with gravelled path and stepping-stones backs onto open fields which may contain cows and calves [depending on the time of year]. Large patio area with seating for 4 (extra seats in shed), sun brolly and gas barbeque. Large flower barrels and troughs. Firepit area - (lit with fairy lights after dark) provides a great place from which to enjoy the countryside views. Please bring your own firelighter and wood etc. 4 toasting forks are provided. Shed at end of bungalow for storage of garden furniture and bike storage in summer. Woodland – Eades Farm has its own woodland across the field accessed by a footpath and stile. Enjoy strolling here and please adhere to the rules of the countryside. Come equipped as it could be damp underfoot. Guest access As well as the bungalow and garden, you are welcome to access the farm tracks, footpaths and woods belonging to Eades Farm. Please do not enter the barns etc or any working parts of the farm. The farmhouse garden is also private. Other things to note We will send you ferry discounts exclusive to Fields View after booking. If you are using the sofa bed, please let us know beforehand. A double duvet and pillows are provided as well a mattress topper for extra comfort. Bed linen and towels are also provided for the sofa bed. Let us know beforehand if you need the airbed. (Bring sleeping bag. Pillow and towels provided. ) A travel cot with mattress is also provided. Please bring all bedding for this. As Fields View is situated on a working farm, there may be livestock on the other side of the fencing including the noises they make! There are some restricted areas, and inevitably there's also the dust/mud a farm can bring. We advise guests to turn up with their wellies if the weather is wet, although there’s no need if you’re planning to just use your vehicle. On site there is a friendly dog and a cat, and at times you may be able to see our local owls and red squirrels. In the evening you can enjoy dark skies and a view of the stars on cloudless nights.
