But if you are planning to explore further afield during your stay, Wimbledon railway station is just 0.9 miles away. It's from here that you can catch services into central London (London Waterloo) in about 20 minutes. You can also reach Chessington World of Adventures with direct services from here, as well as Woking and St Albans. The station is also served by London Underground District Line trains (as is Wimbledon Park tube station which is a mile from the house). These services connect direct to Paddington (for the Heathrow Express) as well as into Central London, The City and East London.
