Mariposa Ridge Retreat is a ten-acre hilltop home with panoramic views of the seasonal snow capped peaks in Yosemite and the quaint village below. Located just 1.5 miles outside of the historic Gold mining County seat of Mariposa, the 'Mother of California's Counties.' We are 38 miles from Yosemite National Park, and just ten minutes from the Merced River which winds along Highway 140 for 23 miles into the Park. One of the most scenic drives on the planet. Don't miss the river drive into YOSEMITE! The home was built in 2005 and features a King Suite, a Queen bedroom and two full-size double beds in the third bedroom. There are extra twin futons & bedding for a small upcharge. There are two full baths. The master has a larger soaking tub. There is a 500 square foot deck with six foot circular HOT SPRINGS Spa overlooking the Mariposa Valley along with picnic table, umbrella and a charcoal barbecue. The water comes from a deep mountain well fed by year-round Sierra snowpack. Roam the ten hilltop acres along with deer and wild Sierra birds. Bring your clothes and food (linens and towels are provided) and come home to peaceful mountain air and escape the rat race below.
