Garden Cottage was once the gardener's cottage which served Appletree House and Appletree Barn. Having been converted into a holiday retreat it now boasts a large vaulted open plan living/dining/kitchen space on the first floor to make the most of the glorious views, and three en suite bedrooms on the ground floor. Decorated in soft hues of bleached white, blue, grey and orange to reflect the landscape, sandy hues combine with local beach finds to make this property rather special. With views aplenty, you will love the privacy, peace and tranquillity this house has to offer. Relax in the sitting area taking in the coastal vistas, or head outside when its warm and sunny to sunbathe on the sun desk, enjoy a barbecue supper cooked on the charcoal barbecue or watch the sun set with a sundowner in hand. When you are not on the beach, walking the coastal path, paddle-boarding or bobbing around in a boat in Brancaster Staithe harbour or heading out from Burnham Overy Staithe to Scolt Head Island, take time to explore Burnham Market, Holkham, Holt or Wells-next-the-Sea and any of the fabulous eateries along the coast. In the winter months, storm-watch or observe the large array of birdlife and wildlife including water deer that feed on the marsh as the creeks and channels fill with the ebb and flow of the tide.
