Agios Nikolaos is a small fishing village, still untouched by tourism, with traditional architecture and peaceful atmosphere. At the port of Agios Nikolaos, which is always full of fishing and excursion boats, you can get a boat trip to visit the famous Blue Caves and the Shipwreck. You can also take the ferry to the nearby island of Kefalonia that departs daily from the port. The beach of Agios Nikolaos with the deep blue and crystal clear waters is perfect for swimming and relaxing. There are many taverns around where you can taste fresh fish, local dishes and traditional Greek cuisine.
