During active work periods, noise levels on the 1st floor can reach approximately 68–72 decibels, with reduced—but still noticeable—noise on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The works are not constant and may vary in both intensity and timing. The town has a railway station which offers regular services to London Victoria (40 mins), London Bridge (20 mins), King's Cross St Pancras (40 mins), and other destinations in Kent.
